Dr. Jules is a 2000 graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and a lifelong dog enthusiast. As a veterinarian she worked with the local police department’s K9 unit providing them with advice and care for their drug-detection dogs. She also volunteered with a local children’s hospital helping to screen candidate dogs for a pet therapy program.
She’s owned many, many dogs in her life so far. Rottweiler are one of her favorite breeds and she believes them to be misrepresented in today’s world.
Her goal with this blog is to provide some practical and common sense advice for owners (or prospective owners) of Rottweilers. There’s a great deal of misinformation on the internet about how to care for this breed, but this site can serve as a trusted resource (even if I post the pic below with a dog who isn’t a Rottweiler).
